The average sale price has eased 2.7%, offering slightly improved affordability for purchasers. With seven months of inventory, conditions have shifted firmly toward a balanced-to-buyer’s market, providing consumers with greater choice and negotiation leverage while prompting sellers to price strategically in today’s evolving environment.
Hamilton and Haldimand’s real estate markets continue to moderate as shifting demand influences overall performance. In Haldimand, unit sales are down 3.7% and the average sale price has declined 2.6%, supported by six months of inventory that signals balanced conditions. Hamilton has experienced a steeper slowdown, with unit sales falling 8% and prices down 3%. Five months of inventory offers buyers more choice while motivating sellers to price competitively in today’s evolving market landscape overall.
